Bayern Munich hosts Salzburg in a second leg from the Champions League 1/8-finals. We will give you some preview of this game in our football predictions for tomorrow. Let’s get to work!
Surpisingly Bayern Munich didn’t win the first game in Austria – it ended with a 1-1 draw. The Red Bulls had a goal advantage until the 90th minute when Bayern’s Kingsley Coman scored the equalising goal. It was not Bayern’s best performance for the season, but now they will have the chance to do much better.
During the weekend the Bavarians also left some doubts about their current shape as they only made a 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. Niklas Sule opened the score for the hosts but Thomas Muller scored himself an own goal before the halftime break.
Bayern Munich’s head coach Julian Nagelsmann once again has some problems with players that are missing. Manuel Neuer remains sidelined with an injury while Alphonso Davies, Corentin Tolisso and Leon Goretzka remain out of action as well.
Salzburg are aware that they are complete underdogs in Munich. They played a good game in the first leg but now it’s going to be even more difficult for them at the Allianz Arena.
Before this trip to Munich Salzburg achieved another victory in the Austrian Bundesliga. Matthias Jaissle’s team hosted Rheindorf Altach at home and totally dominated the game for a 4-0 win. Adamu, Wober, Sucic and Adeyemi scored for the hosts in this match.
That’s the football predictions for tomorrow for the Champions League 1/8-finals clash between Bayern Munich and Salzburg. The Bavarian giants will try to prove that their average performance in the first game was just a fluke. They are the top favorites to take the win here but they should not underestimate the Austrians – they are a tough team as well.
